Spring is here already! Time sure flies. I hope you are out enjoying it. Here are a few pics from a visit to my parents in Oregon mid-March when we celebrated mom's birthday. She loves planting flowers so I set her up for a splash of season color with a lovely array of primroses for immediate gratification and 100 iris bulbs to accent the front of their home. So what did you do for opening day of spring? I had a nice evening run with our dog Katie in a nearby neighborhood. The delicate pink cherry trees in bloom complimented by their sweet aroma and coupled with patches of yellow and cream daffodils made my 2 jaunts up the large hill pass by in an enjoyable flash.
It does certainly feel great to be alive. Spring is my favorite with all the colors and scents of new life bursting forth!
